Bombay Teen Challenge

Although RPM enjoys working with a variety of clients, there are few that bring as much “purpose” as Bombay Teen Challenge.  In 2016, Jamie DeVries of Kids Helping Kids asked Steve Schapansky of RPM, “Out of all of your travels, what is the hardest part of the planet that you have been to that also has one of the most efficient and effective solutions at work?”  Without hesitation, the answer was “Bombay Teen Challenge in Bombay, India.”  The abuse, the hate, the neglect, and the greed all seem to funnel into a singular area of Bombay.  While the atrocities are great, the solution and love is even greater.

Although we don’t beg for jobs, although maybe we should at times, we do beg you to know more about the problem and solution seen in Bombay, India.  The team at RPM would be honored to buy you coffee and walk through the details.   Please.  There is so much that can be done.

With all of that said, this flyer was a small piece of artwork created for BTC.  It was just a small project, but hopefully eye-catching enough to get you involved.

We do encourage you to go directly to their site for more info.

If you don’t have time to do that, here is a small except from their site.  Again.. please, please, please, ask more questions.  It is groups like BTC that put the “Purpose” in Real Purpose Media.

BTC is a non-profit organization which has been fighting sex trafficking in India since 1990. Anisha* and her younger brother and sister were the first children to be rescued in BTC. Today, Anisha* is happily married and has kids of her own who she hopes will continue to fight the good fight. With over a million children enslaved in the red light districts of India, BTC was created with a vision to break the cycle of trafficking through impact-driven initiatives that help those rescued become productive and empowered members of society.

BTC has an extensive rehabilitation program for those rescued with only one agenda – to show love and hope in all our actions. With this at the foundation of our work, BTC is not just an organization or reintegration program. BTC is family.
